Bath-Romney Campaign Historical and Preservation Association

Remembering the winter Campaign of Stonewall Jackson

In January 1862 Confederate General "Stonewall" Jackson undertook a campaign to secure western Virginia for the Confederacy.

Our organization is dedicated to preserving the memory of the soliders blue and gray who took part in the arduous campaign in the mountains of Western Virginia in 1862.

The men on both sides suffered and died in these moutains need your help, to keep the memory of their actions, the places they marched by, and the legacy of their deeds, from being forgotten and destroyed.

Morgan and Hampshire counties are poised for greater development and expansion. If we act now, we can start preserving and interpreting our heritage, before it has to be saved at the last minute from the bulldozer!
